Privacy Policy — Daily Light

Last updated 24 September 2026

Daily Light collects nothing.

No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere.

Why that claim is verifiable

The app does not request the INTERNET permission. Android therefore will not permit it to open a network connection. No information can leave your device, because the app has no way to send it.

What is stored on your phone

Daily Light saves the following in its own private storage on your device, where other apps cannot read it:

This is never uploaded.

If you have Android Backup switched on in your system settings, Android may include this settings file in the backup it makes to your own Google account, so your settings follow you to a new phone. That backup is made and controlled by Android and by your Google account settings, not by Daily Light. You can turn it off under Settings → Google → Backup on your phone.

Permissions

Daily Light requests one permission:

Children

Daily Light collects no data from anyone, including children.

Deleting your information

Uninstalling Daily Light removes everything it stored. Affirmations you added and lines you kept can also be removed individually inside the app at any time.
